| Training: Training is undertaken in-house, and for the first two years, via day release to college to study for a HNC in electronics. Over the 3 years of the apprenticeship, the successful applicant will be trained and gain skills via placements in manufacturing, test, design, development and installation. This work-based training will be supported by your studies and will prepare you to become a qualified electronic engineer. Your performance will be monitored and appraised during your apprenticeship and you will need to achieve standards at work and college before you progress at the end of each year. At the end of year 3 you will be earning between £250 and £300 per week.
Starting as a service or technical engineer you will have the opportunity to progress into management.
Interviews and assessment days will be arranged in early June with successful candidates starting their apprenticeship in July.
